4th Annual Cruiser's Reunion

downtown Princeton , Mercer Street, Princeton, WV

This is the fourth annual Cruiser's Reunion organized by Teresa Catron and other cruising enthusiasts. From their web page:

"For anyone who has driven or ridden the strip from the Bridge to the Bank. If you've cruised Mercer Street, you know exactly where that is.

Cruising kept all the kids in one centralized location and parents knew where they were! What did cruising bring to our community? Kids who washed cars and worked for gas money. This is for everyone who waxes nostalgic and remembers fondly the souped up cars and cassette decks blaring music from Cheap Trick & REO Speedwagon, Bon Jovi & Def Leppard.

Cruise On!"

Business After Hours and Auction Fundraiser

 —  —

The Chuck Mathena Center , 2 Stafford Commons , Princeton, WV

Sponsored by City National Bank, this special Business After Hours and Silent Auction will benefit The Princeton Renaissance Project and the restoration of The Historic Royal/Lavon Theatre. Local artists used antique pressed tin tiles salvaged from the theatre and speakers from the Anita Drive In Theatre to create beautiful, unique works of art.

These one-of-a-kind works will be auctioned during the April 16 Business After Hours event at the Chuck Mathena Center. Only a limited number of pieces have been created, and proceeds from the auction will go toward remodeling the old theatre into the new Renaissance Theatre, expected to be open in 2017. This is your chance to own a piece of Princeton's history that also represents its future. Pay for the item(s) you win with cash, check, or credit/debit card.

To view the auction gallery or place an absentee bid, click on the AUCTION page above. Let us know you’re coming by responding to our Facebook event invitation here:
